Description
Synonyms in the Sun is a board game with a beach ball theme. Students pick a beach ball with a word on it. They give a synonym for the word and then roll the die and move that many spaces.
Everything is in color and b/w except the game board and poster are only in color.
A worksheet is included as are answer keys, directions, and common core standards. A fun poster is also included. The common core standards work perfectly for 4th and 5th grade, but I know many 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms also work on synonyms.
