Use this lesson, which includes four cue cards and 24 activity cards, to give your students extra support while targeting syntax skills!
This product contains four cue cards to create sentences with appropriate syntax. The cue cards can be used prior to the lesson and during the lesson for added support. This product also includes 24 activity cards that students can use to produce sentences with appropriate syntax.
To prepare: Print the cue cards (pages 3-6) and activity cards (pages 7-18). Laminate, if desired. (I printed my cue cards back to back to save a few laminating sheets.) Cut out each activity card. You can choose to bind your activity sheets together with a metal ring if you would like.
To use: Review the four cue cards prior to starting the lesson, if needed. The cue cards explain how to structure a sentence, step by step. Give one activity card to a student. Have the student create a sentence about the picture, using the cues as needed. Continue
with the rest of the activity cards. Use the cue cards throughout the lesson as appropriate as well.
