Product Description
This graphic organizer is to be used when teaching/developing synthesizing (reading comprehension strategy for higher-level thinking). This organizer is to be used with FICTIONAL text, and is intended to be used after reading TWO accounts or Points of View written about the SAME story events. The student is to draw conclusions based on the first account or point of view, respond to the reading on the graphic organizer, and then continue to read a second account of the SAME story from ANOTHER character's Point of View, recording a SECOND response on the chart. After carefully considering BOTH accounts or POV, the student synthesizes and constructs his or her OWN thoughts and records that on the graphic organizer (third column).
