Synthetic Division Poster
Product Description
Students will follow the hand motions of a set of Emoji's to create a sketch of a polynomial function! From there, they will decide where the x-intercept(s) and y-intercept are, state domain/range, end behaviour, intervals of increase/decrease and describe their function in factored and expanded form. Then, they are asked to use the process of synthetic division to determine if x=2 is a solution to their function. This is a great way to have students summarize the entire unit on polynomials in a creative, colourful poster (which can be displayed in the classroom). Students can take time to critique, learn, and analyze each other's work during a gallery walk as well!

The poster is meant to be printed on a LEDGER size paper; the emoji file is meant to be printed on a LEGAL size paper (one emoji strip per student in the class - no student should have the same sentence).
