Synthetic Division of Polynomials:
Students will solve 10 problems in which they must divide polynomials using synthetic division. They will then use their answers to solve the math riddle. My students loved this activity as it's a fun twist on a difficult concept. *Answer key included!*
Teacher tip: Most problems contain a remainder and some require the use of a placeholder. There are two problems in which the divisor has an x coefficient that is not 1. If students are not prepared to answer these questions using synthetic division, have them use long division.
