Looking to engage students and infuse your class with technology? Try this matching card activity. Students practice their knowledge of graphing systems of linear inequalities. Included are 18 pairs of matching cards. Half the cards have a graph of system and the other half has the system. Students will calculate the identify the key points of the inequality (written in slope intercept form) and find the graph that represents the system.

When students have finished, they can take the 4 question quiz online to check their understanding. Teachers will be able to use this info for a grade or just a gauge of understanding. This Google activity will give students much needed practice.

I have also included a form that students can record their answers for each graph. Once the activity is finished, I like to review this form to see which problems caused the most problem and show to the whole class as a warm up or exit ticket.

Once purchased, you will have the link to download the activity to your google account and directions to share it with your students.. You and your students must have a free Google account in order to access this activity. This is ideal to use through Google Classroom.

Log in to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Use trigonometric ratios and the Pythagorean Theorem to solve right triangles in applied problems.
Graph the solutions to a linear inequality in two variables as a half-plane (excluding the boundary in the case of a strict inequality), and graph the solution set to a system of linear inequalities in two variables as the intersection of the corresponding half-planes.
Solve systems of linear equations exactly and approximately (e.g., with graphs), focusing on pairs of linear equations in two variables.
