This 104 page document is used as "Guide Notes" to teach Linear Systems. They are aligned with the Common Core Standards. It teaches students how to tell how many solutions the linear system contains, how to solve a linear system graphically, algebraically using the substitution method and algebraically using the combination method. The first half of the document is the blank Guided notes and corresponding homeworks. While the second half is the answer key with the blanks and examples filled in. I have used Guided Notes for 13 years and my students find them extremely beneficial. Every student receives a blank copy and I work through the notes with the class. This allows the teacher the ability to work through some examples with the class; the students can work on the examples independently or as group work. The Guided Notes allow for a lot of flexibility.
I also have a review packet and test that is available separately.
