Systems of Equations Lesson 2 Graphing Method.
Teach your students how to graph a system to find the solution as well as reading a graph to write the linear equations.
This is a Smartboard Notebook lesson. The lesson includes two sub-objective questions, with two mid-lesson RTAs (assessments) and 2 exit ticket questions. If you have access to an iPad, these multiple choice questions are great to use with Plickers. (Plickers is a free instant feedback response system to use with a teacher iPAD and printable cards for students.) One strategy to use is if the class doesn't score 75% or higher on an assessment question, you can use the back-up question after reteaching. Please leave a comment if you want to learn more about Plickers. The lesson uses the Cornell Note-taking strategy. or math journal. The "Note" section is Teacher-Led, "Playground" is for the students to work independently or in partners.
