This card sort activity provides students with practice in discerning when each method for solving systems of equations is most appropriate, and provides review for all methods of solving systems of equations.
Students will be asked to solve 6 systems of equations--the catch is that they are only allowed to solve 2 systems with graphing, 2 with substitution, and 2 with elimination, which forces them to think carefully about which method should be used for each system.
Use this during class as part of a lesson, as an enrichment or review activity, or as a a fun way to spice up your homework assignments! This product has many uses, and is offered in 2 sizes: full-sheet and interactive notebook sized
to fit the needs of your classroom.
