Students will pair up and solve a system of equations, one using substitution and one using elimination. When they have solved the system correctly, they will have the same answer. If they have different answers, they will look over their partner's work, and fix any mistakes that they see.
Each partner solves 5 using elimination and 5 using substitution.
An extension activity is included where they find the slope, y-intercept, and equation of the line between given points.
An answer key is included for both activities.
This is a great way to practice systems when they are first learning them, or a great review before a quiz or test!
