Students pre select a job (social media director, restaurant manager, warehouse manager, or construction site foreman).
Teacher prints corresponding number of projects. Each project is about 6 pages.
The project is several pages long - students must graph and deal with multiple representations of systems of equations in situations specific to the job that they picked. Each situation requires explanation - for example in restaurants they must explain to pick either human waiters/waitresses or kiosks. The math is important to get the cost, but they must explain the ethical implications of their decisions as well. In real life you can pick the expensive option if you think it is the right thing to do.
