Students identify types of systems of equations (with 1 solution, no solution and infinite solutions) when data is presented in tables, graphs, sets of coordinate pairs and pairs of equations. In order to determine how many solutions are represented in 2 tables or in 2 coordinate pairs, students will first have to find the slopes and equations of the data or sketch graphs.
Students then sort into 6 different categories: 4 single-solution categories, infinite solutions and no solution. The preview is a completed student product printed on bright paper.
