The first page has four problems with space to do guided practice problems after you have introduced solving systems of equations with notes. I would typically do two of these as guided practice and two in partners or independently. Then on the back page there is the framework for one of my students' favorite activities - dominoes!
I use dominoes to get students moving and engaging with these problems. Around the room was a scavenger hunt of problems. Each small slip of paper had a question on one side and another question's answer on the other side. Student go to a problem and complete it. They found the answer on another slip elsewhere in the room and then completed that problem. My students are much more engaged in practice this way!
One of the best parts is that this assignment checks itself. Students must get an answer that is on another domino paper!
