This PowerPoint file contains student notes for a unit on solving systems of equations. Lesson 1 covers how to determine if a point is a solution to a system and how solve by graphing. Lesson 2 covers solving using substitution. Lesson 3 covers solving using linear combinations (aka elimination). Lesson 4 covers how to decide the best method to use given systems with certain properties. Lesson 5 covers special cases of systems (no solution and infinitely many solutions). Lesson 6 covers solving systems of inequalities.
All of these lessons were designed for an Algebra 1 course. I've made videos of each of these lessons, which can be found at www.youtube.com/kstev320.
