This product focuses on two methods of solving systems of equations: elimination and substitution. The product contains steps and practice problems that progress from basic to more challenging ones.
What you get is a total of 5 pages that include:
Two pages comprised of a foldable with blanks for the students to fill in notes, and 6 practice problems (3 per method) for practice.
Two pages of the same foldable, but with the blanks already typed in.
I mostly use the first foldable with my students to keep them engaged, but the second foldable is great for those students who need accommodations.
How to create the foldable:
Print out the first two pages and rotate the second before copying to make a double-sided sheet (pages must face opposite ways to copy correctly).
Once copied, fold paper like a book.
Reopen and fold both flaps towards the center crease.
I hope this helps you help students learn how to solve systems of equations!
