I use this power point for 2 days after reviewing systems with 2 variables.
Both days are systems with 3 equations and 3 variables.
The first day starts with a warm-up question that is a word problem to determine the cost of video rentals for a 2 equation system. There is then 4 questions where students need to solve 3 equations with a total of 3 variables. The last equations are formed from a word problem.
The second day has 3 problems where all 3 equations have 3 variables. As opposed to day 1 where at least one equation only had 2 of the variables.
All steps and answers are given.
