Solving Systems of Inequalities Scavenger Hunt:
The objective of this activity is for students to solidify their knowledge of solving systems of inequalities in a way that is engaging and requires student discourse. *Answer key included*
Print each of the following pages on colored paper and hang around the room (my students also loved it when I placed some of pages in the hallway). This will give you 12 stations (12 problems). Give each student the Scavenger Hunt Worksheet. In partners, the students will first pick a station to begin with (they can begin anywhere). They must graph the system from that station in the designated box. They must circle the letter that lies within the shaded region and then use that letter to determine where to head to next. *Teacher Tip: I have my students use scratch paper to rewrite the inequalities in slope-intercept form.
