Product Description
This activity requires groups of 3 students working cooperatively and individually. They will roll two paper dice and use the equations that appear on top as the two equations for the system they will need to solve. There are opportunities for infinitely many solutions and no solutions, depending on the outcome of the dice roll.
I recommend making the dice ahead of time to save class time. Also, I recommend using two different colors of card stock for the dice so it is easier to tell them apart. There will be 3 rounds. Each student will solve the system one of three ways: graphically, substitution, or elimination. After 3 rounds they will have solved a system all three ways.
