T-TESS domain 4 asks for teachers to share student progress to students and parents in a systematic manner. In addition to phone calls to parents and using popular online apps such as Class Dojo or Remind, this info-graphic will also keep students and parents informed about their child's progress every two weeks and will help yield the academic conversations that must take place throughout the school year.
I send it out at the end of every two weeks of instruction after diagnostic tests have been administered and teachers have the necessary student data. Teacher models to students how to complete the info-graphic the first semester or so. Then students will eventually complete on their own every two weeks.
This will also help students process self-evaluation, and the importance of meeting their goals and setting new ones. This form is also meant to initiate friendly conversations between parents/students/teachers related to their child's academic progress.
Moreover, teachers can keep copies and use this documentation as evidence of implementation of T-TESS domain 4 as an ongoing self-reflection/information used to refine their teaching, and set new goals to impact student performance.
