Description
Redesigned on August 9, 2017
The TALK to the Text Close Reading Annotation Books for Critical Reading is one of my favorite resources because it makes annotation accessible and meaningful, and this new redesign has me really excited! Though the original flipbook and task cards can still serve as a great reference for your critical readers (and are included in your download), I redesigned this resource to make it more functional, interactive, and engaging. Therefore, I created an enriched version of the TALK guide so you have two levels available, on-level and enriched, AND you now have the ability to edit your tasks to the specific needs of your learners. (Please note only the tasks are editable on the back of bookmarks, both digital and print.) I like to start by introducing annotation with the on-level TALK guide and then move to the enriched version after my students have had practice.
The bookmarks come in both digital and print. Video tutorials are included for customizing and using your digital annotation resource.
*This unit is compatible with Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive and includes directions for each. A short video tutorial is also included to assist with saving your document to Google Drive; written directions are included for saving your document to Microsoft OneDrive.*
