This is a DIY geocaching scavenger hunt and journal, created as a fun way to get to know your local bike trail. Great as a classroom project, birthday party game or a family-fun activity! PRODUCTION NOTES: Print entire PDF in duplex fashion on printer, if possible. FOR COVER: Use bright yellow or white card stock for durability; Staple or spiral bind left-edge of journal; ANSWER KEY SHEET: Can be included in journal to help younger aged children along or can be left out of journal, as answer key for adult host.
OTHER NOTES: Provide fun Trail Tasks to scavenger hunters, such as counting various items at particular landmarks, taking photos with Travel Guide TC at various trail locations, collecting pencil rubbings and/or sketches along the trail, performing exercises, such as jumping jacks or push ups at various trail locations, and other creative tasks.
