Tea Rock features young adolescents as they deal with conflict, self-determination, and the ability to be compassionate to needs other than their own. The script has two acts of six scenes each, 15 songs, and calls for a minimal cast of 16 young actors.
Additional characters can be created, or are available when requested from the author/composer.
The scenario pits two young teens and best friends, Able Highanota and Baker Goalie (two girls, two boys, or one of each) against their parents. The moms and dads are looking to reach their lifelong goals by living vicariously through their children.
Guiding the youngsters and their peers is Inkwellis Iskivitz, a crusty, veteran school teacher, of the traditional hard shell around soft heart.
