TEAM-MEAT is a card game/literacy center designed to teach students word definitions for anagrams. An anagram is two words whose letters are the same but in a different order. For example, the two definitions on card #1 are A. FRONT OF JAW and B. TWELVE MAKE A FOOT. The answers are the words "chin" and "inch" which are anagrams.
Print all of the pieces for TEAM-MEAT on card stock or heavy weight paper. For durability, laminate all the pieces. Cut them apart then store all the pieces in a large envelope or zipper style plastic bag. Your cards are ready for use in your classroom. The blank card is for you and your students to create your own TEAM-MEAT pairs.
