TED Talks expose students to topics that expand their world knowledge. TED Talks are incredibly powerful short lectures delivered by people from all disciplines, walks of life, cultures and communities.
In an effort to address CCSS on Speaking and Listening, students can choose a topic and analyze the talk for rhetorical devices and persuasive technique, diction and personal responses.
This is a Word document that allows the boxes to expand as students type their responses; it also allows you to alter the instructions and/or elements for scaffolding and differentiation.
