TED Talk Scavenger Hunt Activity
(64 Task Cards)
This is a great activity to introduce TED Talks to your students or to encourage them to explore TED Talks on their own!
Scavenger Hunt Race- Copy all 6 sheets and distribute to students. The first person to earn 100 points (or however many points you decide) “wins.”
Note on individual sheets: The first 3 sheets contain 12 task cards totally 30+ points. The following 2 sheets contain 12 task cards totally 12+ points. The final sheet contains 4 task cards totaling 20 points.
Anticipatory Activity or Exit Ticket- Copy sheets and randomly distribute sheets or cut out individual cards from each sheet. Randomly distribute card or cards (depending on time available) and use as an anticipatory activity or as an “exit ticket” following a lesson. (I laminate my sheets and either have students write answers on post-its they stick on the laminated sheets or I give my students dry-erase fine tip markers and have them write their answers directly on the laminated sheets.
Homework- Assign(all 6 sheets or individual sheets.)
Extra Credit- Assign sheets or cards as extra credit or “make-up” work.
"Filler"/In-between unit activity
“Sub Day” activity.
