It is a fun and exciting way to graph the equation of a circle by drawing a teddy bear. Students will simply draw a circle from the given equation that will form the head, nose, eyes, ears, body and other parts of the teddy bear, There is also a variation in the form of question or problem for those who are taking Algebra 2. It makes use of simple materials like compass, pencils or markers. This is another example that integrates Arts in Math. I hope you like it.
NOTE: For very small circles which the compass is unable to sketch, students can just draw them manually or freehand. Or, try printing it on a bigger size paper by setting the photocopier to enlarge the copy.Thank you again.
