This one page resource is a model for students in note-taking and creating paragraphs when studying narrative film. The notes come from an analysis of Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet film adaptation from 1996. After the notes there is a an example paragraph, incorporating film terminology, that demonstrates how the notes fit into the paragraph. This handout uses the TEEL (topic, explain, evidence, link) structure is exactly the same as PEEL (point, explain, evidence, link). Enjoy! This is a great little handout for students in lower secondary studied Shakespeare and film analysis.
