With this activity, your students will be volunteering at a homeless shelter, where they will be planning a Thanksgiving Feast for the families at the shelter. They will be in charge of buying the food and decorations. They will be given a budget of $600. Students must try to stay at or below budget! There is a questionnaire at the end and a space to draw their feast!
This fun activity provides great budgeting and critical thinking skills. This resource will also give students the opportunity to practice doing things for others out of the kindness of their hearts.
