Description of GOOD SHEPHERD
This Sunday school lesson can stand alone or it may be used as a lesson to follow my other weekly lessons.
The lesson introduces the children to the wonderful 23rd Psalm and leads them through learning activities that help them understand this deeply and feel the great blessings that we experience having such a wonderful shepherd!
Children are provided with a stimulus picture of a modern day shepherd, and then a paraphrased version of Psalm 23 is provided if you feel this would be more helpful that reading direct from the Bible.
Items are provided for a class collage and a simple welcome, songs and prayers all provided.
You also have all needed worksheets so you don’t need to do any prep other than prayerful reading the scriptures, printing off these resources and providing paints, cotton wool and paper etc.
I want to save you all the hours I put in for may years. How much better to be able to just prayerfully read the scriptures and pray for each child rather than have to spend hours searching for creative activities!
Of course, being creative teachers I am sure you will add lots of creative flourishes to this package!
Please follow me and enjoy the Sunday School resources I prepare each week. (With the help of my trusty friend: Sunday School Bear!)
