Product Description
Great for classroom competitions and parties alike. You've seen tournament templates online, they're okay for single-elimination, but what if you don't want students sitting idle after being eliminated? You need round-robin style play. Here comes, "The Tournamator"…an automatic roster and team generator, game organizer, and scoring system that will save you hours of organizing brackets and totaling scores. All you need to run it is MS-Excel or the freeware program Open Office. (downloadable at

“The Tournamator" handles team set-up and does automatic, individual player scoring! Simply enter the names of each player (or team) on the ROSTER tab, click on the game tab matching the type of tournament you are running, and enter game scores as your tournament progresses. "The Tournamator" keeps track of each player's cumulative score, and where the individual or team competes in the next round. How many students? As far as tracing individual scores? "The Tournamator" can handle as few as 2, and as many as 32 ! If you have an odd number of students or teams, simply enter the word "bye" or a "0" in the roster and it will evenly distribute the gap during the game rounds. You can then decide whether each player will sit-out for one round, or if a team will be short one player for one round. Important: “The Tournamator” does random player assignments for each game round, meaning teams are always changing. If you want teams to remain the same each round, all you need to do is group your students onto teams ahead of time, and enter those team names onto the ROSTER. By the way, if you do that, then there are no player quantity limits ! Also, you don't have to play all rounds for the automatic scoring to work. Since scoring follows game progress by rounds, you will always have the most recent tally. (Great for when you either run out of time, or would simply rather play 3 rounds instead of 6 etc.)
