This game is great for getting students to interact with each other. It is perfect for a getting-to-know you ice breaker or for a group of students who are familiar with each other. The game can be modified for any topic or holiday.
Download includes a PDF file with directions as well as Microsoft Word editable documents (in both black and white and color) for two different games.
• As students arrive, tape or stick the word onto his/her back.
• Players may ask only yes-or-no questions of others in the group to determine what “thing” they are. Players may only ask TWO questions of each person; then they must move on to question a new person.
• When a player thinks he/she knows what he/she is, he/she tells their guess to the supervising teacher. If the guess is correct, the teacher removes the sticker, gives it to the wearer to stick to his/her front, and then attaches a new word to his/her back. If the guess is incorrect, send him/her back out into the room.
• The player with the most “stickers” at the end of the time limit is the winner. Set the time limit based on your number of players or just play until all stickers are given out!
I've played this game with both small groups and large groups. The kids love it!!
