This activity includes two different variations- one where the digital times go in the eggs and the students have to draw on the hands on the recording sheet, and another where you put the analog clocks in the eggs and they have to write the time shown on the recording sheet.
EACH of the sets includes recording sheets with 8, 12, 15, 20 and 24 boxes to fit your needs! It also includes the digital time cards in ALL times to the nearest HOUR, HALF HOUR, FIVE MINUTES, and MINUTE**. The analog time clock cards include times already made for HOUR and HALF HOUR, but I have also included blank clocks that the hands can be drawn on to increase the difficulty/differentiation for that version.
Please note these response sheets don’t have the dashes for individual minutes in between, so if you use those time cards, students will need to draw them in themselves as they go.
Print JUST the time cards that correlate with your specific skill-time to the hour, half hour, 5 minutes, or minutes, in addition to the recording sheet you are using!
Cut the time cards out and label your eggs based on the number you are using.
Fill the eggs with the time cards
Hide the eggs
Let your kids go on a time hunt!
I recommend printing a sheet for yourself and filling it in as an answer key while you assemble the eggs to save time!
**The minute cards are a mixed variation of times, NOT every hour to every minute!
