These lessons were created to help young students think about their choices, and for teachers to document inappropriate behaviors. There is a place for a parent signature, if desired.
Using the time out lessons allows a disruptive student a little bit of time to cool off and refocus, while the rest of the class continues working. Included in this file:
• Technology (Abuse)
• Talking (Excessive)
• Failure to stay on-task (after repeated warnings)
• Respect (Lack of)
• Removal from the classroom
These lessons were designed to be...annoying. The students must copy the text onto the back of the paper, thus they will need to flip the sheet back and forth numerous times. This alone deters some kids from goofing off because they don’t want to write.
