Are you a teacher required to show evidence with the Teacher Growth and Effectiveness System? Looking for another way to help you get organized with your evidence collection? This may be the perfect product for you!
With the implementation of Teacher Professional Growth and Effectiveness (especially for the state of Kentucky) and the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching, teachers are faced with an enormous task of gathering evidence to substantiate their effectiveness in the classroom. This product is a collection of SAMPLE pieces of evidence. Teachers can print off the product and use it as they collect and analyze sources of evidence and work to create an organized evidence collection system.
Each page has the domain and accompanying component for the domain from the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching. It has a table of SAMPLE pieces of evidence with check boxes. Teachers may use the boxes to keep track of the evidence they collect. This product can also serve as a springboard for professional learning communities (PLC) to discuss evidence collection as it relates to teaching and learning. Additionally, each page provides examples of evidence that can be shared at the pre-observation conference and/or post-observation conference as well as examples of evidence that can be seen, heard, or read while in the classroom during the TPGES observation.
DISCLAIMER: This product is merely a sample of evidence that could be included for the Teacher Professional Growth and Effectiveness System (TPGES) and is NOT intended to be the right or wrong way to collect evidence. This product is in no way a guarantee that a teacher will score an "accomplished" or "exemplary" performance rating if he/she uses this product.
