★ I can identify the types of transformations.
★ I can explain the effects of the transformations using an algebraic representation.
I created these task cards to be used for a musical scoot. Giving each student
30 seconds to complete the task card. The main objective is for the student to
be able to identify the type of transformation.
While creating these task cards, I thought about my low students and my high
students. My low students would be lucky to be able to write the type of
transformation word down in 30 seconds. Therefore, I used multiple choice
(A,B,C,D) for the types of transformations for those students.
My high students would be able to identify the transformation in 5 seconds and
have it written in 10 seconds. This could be disastrous because that would give
them 20 seconds to find disrupt the class. Therefore, I also added writing the
Algebraic Representation of the transformation down. This would allow my high
students the opportunity to work on this skill as well as identifying.
✰ HOW TO UTILIZE✰
I created these task cards to be used for a musical scoot.
1) Put 1 task card on each desk, and give each student a recording sheet.
2) Turn on music, while music is playing students walk around the desks.
3) Turn off music for 30 seconds, while music is off students complete the task card that
they stopped at.
4) After 30 seconds, turn on music again and repeat until students off completed all task
