PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TRAVEL - "Exploring the World BEYOND the Classroom" walks you through the steps for planning an "outing" with the students. Trips can be simply an overnight retreat, a state, regional or national conference, or an extensive international student exchange trip with another country. Being totally aware of the awesome liability and responsibility you take on when you take students away from the school should not be overlooked or minimized -- you need to know what you are doing! Taking students on an overnight outing requires thoughtful planning, organization, and loads of patience on the part of the teacher and the students. It can be an enjoyable, memorable, and fun experience for all if it is well-planned and the parents are kept in “the loop.”

Are you up for an unforgettable trip of YOUR life time with your students? Do you know what your school district requires of you, the responsibilities you will incur, and the liability you take on, as a sponsor, when taking your students away from the school on an outing?
