This Reader's Theater is based on the hilarious book written by Lisa Wheeler called TURK AND RUNT. Runt continually tries to save his big brother, Turk, from being eaten. In the end, Turk saves Runt from becoming a little old lady's Thanksgiving dinner.

There are roles for seven students. You may revise this as necessary.

Headbands/reader labels are included with instructions on how I have used them in the past.

Your students are sure to have fun increasing their reading skills and practicing their fluency with this Reader's Theater!
