Twenty and Ten is a great novel to show how even young children had courage in World War II. It would be an excellent read-aloud, especially at Christmas, though good any time of year. This unit has -
- Introductory page for some history and geography background,
- questions for every chapter in a variety of formats,
- word study - Ch. 1 and 2; Ch. 3, 4, and 5
- writing and discussion prompts - one per chapter
- word search,
This is the perfect companion for Snow Treasure, for which I also have a Novel Study.
