This activity helps students to develop their critical thinking skills while reviewing the types of energy. The "square" puzzle includes 16 squares. The squares have a combination of terms, definitions, examples, and pictures of the types of energy. Students must cut out and match the side of each square up to the the side of another square that correctly describes it. The activity set includes: a student handout, student answer sheet, puzzle key handout, a PowerPoint slide of the answer key. In addition, the package includes a PowerPoint of all of the individual squares that you can print, laminate, and use with magnetic strips on a white board. This activity can be used several times throughout the your energy lessons to review the types of energy.
