This a 31 page packet, one title page and 30 pages of different rhythms (all four measures). I use this level with my end of year Spring Kindergartens and my first grades. I personally project it via powerpoint onto my whiteboard. It's a nice seasonal change of pace from rhythm flash cards. Putting it on the board allows me to show the students longer rhythms building up sight-reading stamina. Otherwise you can print the cards out to use in a variety of activities. Use them as simple flashcards, or hand one to each student to read on their own. If you print out two sets you could perform each rhythm while students have to track and see what you are performing is the same as the rhythm they are holding. (That might be something for the second graders too.) I sometimes paste them to poster paper and laminate them, and we play rhythm toss. In this game when students hear their rhythm they try to toss their card into the bucket in the middle of the circle. Closest card wins, it gets very amusing!
I have included the PDF of my powerpoint show to prevent formatting problems, and make for easy printing.
