Description
Tag questions are fun for ESL students once they get the hang of it, aren't they? :) In this activity, students will work together in small groups to match questions to their tags.
Tags used are: can/can't, could/couldn't, will/won't, would/wouldn't, do/don't, does/doesn't, did/didn't, should/shouldn't with the pronouns I, you, we, they, he, she, it.
This activity is designed for high-beginning to low-intermediate adult ESL students, but can also be used with secondary students.
⚠️✂️WARNING: This will take prep time as there is a lot of cutting involved. However, once you have completed the number of sets you need, you'll be able to use them again and again. Also, access to a large surface for students to use as a workspace is necessary. Do not purchase if your room is restricted to desks with tiny tops.
