Is your class inundated with students tattling, or being upset with each other? Have you ever said, "go try to work it out," but your kids don't really know how? I created these visual sentence frames to scaffold children in sharing feelings (4 steps) and apologizing (6 steps). My students go to the take a break area and have these conversations daily. You will be amazed at their independence, and growing ability to work out their problems. I couldn't get through the day without these reminders.
Don't forget to set up your take a break area!
