For students who 1) lack organization skills; 2) need to learn when and why to take notes; and 3) would benefit from note-taking practice, this mini course is excellent. Three practice tasks help the student understand the skill of brief yet accurate notes. The first task is writing down assignments in a planner or homework org page. The second tasks is during a teacher lecture or information-transfer time. The third is during reading, so to gain better comprehension of story plot, characters, etc. For each of the three practice tasks instructions and answer sheets are provided.
