I always have students who confuse the letters b and d.
Over the years, I have found that the best way to get
this straightened out is to make sure that they know that
they have this confusion and that it is their job to think
about correcting it.
I have created some activities to help students become
aware of the these confusing letters.
Pages 3 and 4:
This packet contains a classroom poster of the word “bed”
that students can think about which way the “b” and “d” ‘s
go. There are labels that can be put onto student desks
to use as a reference. You can use Avery 8163 2”x4” labels.
Pages 5 and 6:
These are bookmarks and parent letters that can be
sent home with the students to have a reminder at home
There are 5 worksheets to help reinforce b and d.
This is a b and d matching game.
This is a b and d board game.
