After reading Chapter 2 of Judy Blume's Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, I have my students recall the events of the story using this worksheet. Having students sequence the events of the chapter using a storyboard allows for them to build upon their reading comprehension skills. In addition, having students illustrate the events in the text helps them to visualize the events in the chapter. When students have completed their storyboard, give them time to share their work with their peers. Students enjoy sharing their visual interpretations of the events of the text. In addition, you can quickly assess students' comprehension of the text using the work they produce.
