Talk-Moves are guiding posters to help facilitate active participation and engagement during classroom discussions. The six "talk-moves" repeating, reasoning, adding on, waiting, turn and talk and revise all provide students with ways that they can participate in class. After teaching each of these moves individually, you can keep the posters visible in your discussion area so that students can reference them during class time.
Each poster is in color with an adorable student graphic as well as a speech bubble that cues the students with a sentence starter. For more information about "talk-moves" check out my blog www.lightafire3.blogspot.com as I use them in my second grade classroom!
