“Talking Triangles” has 5 guided practice worksheets that review
the classification of triangles by their angle and side measurements.
The 5 worksheets are leveled and progressively get more difficult.
The review portion of ‘Talking Triangles’ includes six 2-sided
worksheets that review calculating the third angle of a triangle, and
classification of a triangle according to the measurements of angles
Students must already know the meaning of: scalene, isosceles,
equilateral, right, acute, obtuse and congruent.
Students must also know that:
(1.) if none of the angles are the same, then none of the
lengths of sides are the same.
(2.) if two of the angles are the same, then two of the sides are
(3.) if all three angles are the same, then the lengths of all three
sides are the same. Students must also know how to
calculate the third angle. Students must prove they
understand these concepts by explaining their answers.
