Product Description
This lesson is focused around literature (Pecos Bill by Steven Kellogg--book NOT included in this purchase). The lesson components involve two main parts: learning about the genre of Tall Tales and focusing on comparative and superlatives. The PowerPoint will guide the teacher through teaching both the genre of Tall Tales as well as comparative and superlatives. Then, the teacher would read the story (not included) to the class. After reading, the students would write two sentences about Pecos Bill that include comparatives and superlatives. An example is provided on the PowerPoint using Johnny Appleseed. This writing activity will provide proof of comprehension as well as writing experience using these types of words.
There are 3 things included in this folder: a PowerPoint lesson, a Word version of the worksheet activity, and a PDF version of this same worksheet.
