Tall Tales are a staple of American literature. This lesson takes the students through the characteristics of a tall tale, asks them to read and analyze two great American tales- Paul Bunyan and Pecos Bill, and then has them create their own tall tale in the shape of a tall person. The text makes up the body of the person, and then they add a head and feet.
