Product Description
This is not a storybook compantion pack. It is a language activity with both expressive and receptive games related to speech therapy goals.

Directions
ASKING “wh” Questions:
Give each student a basket of apples containing the questions. Students are to draw an apple card containing a word( answer) and develop an appropriate question to go with the answer. If they have a correct question, then they get to keep the card, if not, they have to discard it. Whoever has the most cards wins! (48 Cards)

Same/Different:
Print and laminate cards. Have students draw cards and tell how
the two items are the same or how they are different.( 24 cards)

Sequencing Steps:
Once a student draws a card have them identify the steps in making a sequence. If they correctly tell the story in the right sequence, they may collect the cards and place them on Johnny. Whoever has the most cards wins. (24 cards)

Attributes:
Hand out the cards to each students. Have the student either list all the attributes to the given item using a timer to see who can do it the fastest wins, or you can have each student write down one attribute (dry erase marker) then pass is to the left and have the next student add an attribute. (48cards)

Answering “wh” Questions:
Have the students draw a card and whoever has the most correct answers wins. (40 cards)

Categories Match Up
Have the students match each item to its corresponding category. You can play this with a sand timer and race against the clock to see who wins! (12 categories, 60 item cards)

Naming Synonyms and Antonyms
Use the Same cards to:
“What’s another word that means_____? Matching” and to “Tell me the Opposite of” (24 pairs)

Analogies
Ex: Drive is to Car as Fly is to_________. (Plane) (24 cards)

Idioms:
Hand out the cards to each students. Identify what the underlined word means: (24 Cards)
